Darweish Designs
Pocket Web Studio
Privacy policy · Version 1.0 · Updated 27 September 2026
Your code stays under your control
Pocket Web Studio stores your projects on your device. You do not need an account. The app has no advertising or third-party analytics SDK and does not upload your code, project names, filenames, snippets or clipboard contents to Darweish Designs. Webpages you preview can make their own network requests, as explained below.
Who is responsible
Darweish Designs is responsible for personal information we receive in connection with Pocket Web Studio. For privacy questions or requests, email info@darweish.com.
Information on your device
The app stores project files, editor positions, preferences, recoverable drafts, custom snippets and local version history in its own storage. It also generates a random installation identifier locally. Imports are copies: the original files in Files are not edited in place. Your operating system may include app data in device backups, depending on your settings; the app does not provide its own cloud synchronisation.
Local data stays until you delete it or the app, subject to automatic cleanup of drafts and bounded version history. History is limited to 100 snapshots or 20 MB per project and older snapshots may be pruned. Local storage is not a separate backup. Export important projects regularly. Your existing projects remain editable and exportable when Pro expires.
Installation reporting
Installation reporting is not connected in this version. No first-open events or installation identifiers are sent to Darweish Designs. If optional reporting is introduced in a future version, we will explain what is sent, why, retention and your choices before enabling it.
Subscriptions and Apple
Apple processes purchases and payments. Pocket Web Studio uses StoreKit to check verified subscription information and enable Pro features. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple may provide transaction and sales information through its developer services. We use information available to us to administer purchases, resolve purchase enquiries and meet applicable accounting obligations. The app does not require a Darweish Designs reporting server to verify Pro access.
Where personal purchase information is used to provide your subscription, the basis is performance of the subscription contract; records required by law are processed to meet legal obligations. Relevant records are retained for the time needed to administer purchases, resolve disputes and meet applicable record-keeping requirements. Apple handles its own information under Apple’s privacy policy . Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Web preview and external services
The preview runs your HTML, CSS and browser JavaScript on your device. Its local server listens only on the device’s loopback address. The preview uses a nonpersistent browser data store.
Remote scripts, images, stylesheets, fonts and requests in your project may contact external providers and send your IP address, normal request information and any data your webpage sends. The guided library picker checks library URLs, and its catalogue uses jsDelivr. Custom URLs contact the providers you choose. These services apply their own privacy policies. Use trusted code and local assets when you want an offline project.
Exporting or sharing sends files to the destination you select. Opening support, privacy or terms links contacts the relevant website or email provider.
Support messages and this page
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. Please do not include passwords, payment details or confidential project files. We use this information to respond, investigate faults and maintain service quality, relying on our legitimate interests in providing support. We keep correspondence only for as long as needed to resolve the enquiry, handle related follow-ups or disputes and meet legal obligations.
This page does not add analytics scripts, advertising, tracking cookies or external fonts. Our website and email service providers necessarily process technical information to deliver these services, which can include IP addresses, request times and security logs. Such information is used to operate and protect the services and retained only for operational, security and legal needs. It is separate from local project storage in the app.
Sharing and international processing
We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising profiles. Information may be handled by providers that operate our website and email, by Apple for purchases, or where disclosure is required by law. External resources in projects contact their respective providers directly. Providers may process information outside your country. Where we arrange a restricted international transfer, applicable safeguards must be in place. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your enquiry.
Your choices and rights
You can export and delete local projects and history in the app. We cannot retrieve or delete files stored only on your device. For personal information we hold, you may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection, depending on your location and the processing involved. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and legal retention duties. Email us to make a request; we may ask for information needed to verify it. If processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
You can also complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK, contact the Information Commissioner’s Office .
Changes
We will update this notice when the app’s data practices change and update the date above. Material changes involving new collection will be explained before that collection is enabled.
