How long will it take for my web site to be designed?

The timescale for a web project is often dictated by the client . If you have a deadline in mind, I will endeavour to meet it for you. The most common delay in the creation and completion of a new website is waiting for content (text/images etc).  I therefore ensure that I am very clear about the required content from the start.

Will we need to have a meeting in connection with the website design?

For smaller projects, phone calls and emails can be suffiecient. However for more complex online and offline projects it is best to meet.  These are usually about an hour.

In what format should I supply content about my business for my new website?

It is helpful if you are able to provide all content in electronic form.  Text can be provided in Microsoft Word or similar format. Images can be provided in any image format e.g JPEG, PNG etc.  I am also to work with photographers, your suppliers and other agencies that are involved with producing your content. 

Will my website be “Search Engine Friendly”?

All our websites and projects are developed with search engines in mind.  It is beneficial for your website to be re-evaluated in time as over a period of time the search engines, such as Google, do alter their rules and algorithms and you will want to be certain that your website is kept up to date and complies with new rules.

What do I need to acheive a professional online presence for my business?

You need a professionally developed static, dynamic or e-commerce website, an easy to remember domain name (website address e.g www.mybusiness.com), and web hosting (where your website files are stored on the web). You also need the website to be uploaded onto your hosting facilities and promoted to the search engines.

I hear that there are hidden costs associated with web design services. Is this true?

No All prices are quoted and agreed upfront. That price is strictly adhered to.

How do I update my website?

There are many different methods that customers choose to update their websites.

If you website is relatively small, consisting of just  a few well designed pages, then
It is much more cost effective to have Darweish Design update your pages.   If however your website is feature rich with a lot of pages, then it is more advisable to use what is called a Content Management System.  Darweish Design can provide a range of online CMS solutions that allow for you to quickly and efficiently update your website from anywhere in the world.

Can you provide all our web design and hosting services?

Do you use Flash animation in your website design?

Yes we do use flash as and when required. It is important to note that there are times when flash animations can be an asset to your business.
 
Flash is generally best used for website advertising banners, advertisements or demonstrations.

Can I get e-mail with my website?

Yes you can have email and you will probably wish you set-up several email addressed e.g. sale@your-domain.com, info@your-domain.com, john.smith@your-domain.com

How can I track how many visitors I’ve had to my website?

Yes, it would be no problem to update your existing websites.  Darweish Design can redesign your site, retaining your corporate branding and identity.  New features can also be added to your existing site.
